Brian Robins

Facebook, Brand Initiatives Intern for Global Accounts

“Interning with Facebook during the Summer of 2016 was honestly a life changing opportunity that gave me so many positive experiences. Was an intern on the Global Accounts team where I researched brand initiatives in key African countries, client solutions in the European market, and global data solutions across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa for two of Facebook’s top global advertising clients. Working in these three different segments was not only a great way to learn about different realms of the advertising and ad-sales industries but also the cultural implications of the different countries I researched. i really felt likeI was able to take concepts I learned in LMC and happy them to something huge! interning with Global Accounts was such an opportunity for growth and I can’t wait to start full time on Facebook’s Small and Medium Business team.”

Alexis Taylor

Atlanta Hawks, Multimedia Production Intern for NBA Franchise

“I found this internship through the GT Chapter of the American Marketing Association via the Marketing Career Fair. Having this internship solidified my decision to incorporate video production into my job and taught me the hands on skills I needed to pursue my dream. During home games, I sat at the baseline and filmed with the giant camera. What I love about LMC is that instead of just being taught facts, we are really taught how to learn, analyze and question. The three most important classes I took in relation to my internship was LMC 2720, LMC 3406, and LMC 3258. My professors ensured these courses were technical and left me with skills I used throughout my internship. My biggest piece of advice is to do the tasks that nobody else wants to do, and do them better than any body else could.”

After college, Alexis worked in Atlanta as a video producer for a marketing agency and has recently started her own Video Production company in Seattle.
