Ms. Bernard, a Georgia Tech LMC graduate, is making waves in Liberian fashion while simultaneously helping Ebola survivors. As a social entrepreneur, she found work at The Bombchel Factory. She initiated a digital and social media campaign to raise money to build a factory that trains and employs post-war/ post-Ebola survivors. She coordinates line sheets, designs, programming for less fortunate women, public relations materials and fashion week displays. Bernard created a luxury brand from a third world country while incurring no debt, on her own. She is empowering women in many ways, but this is no surprise – she’s from Georgia Tech, so she can do that!
