Social Media Editor and Marketing Coordinator

A professor in the School of Modern Languages is looking for an undergraduate assistant for fall 2019 to work as a social media editor and marketing coordinator for Polivision, a multi-media outlet about Latin(o) American Arts and Global Cultures. The position requires strong writing skills for digital platforms, and it is for 5-10 hours per week.

The undergraduate assistant will create and edit multimedia content for the web (including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) about arts and culture, and support the production of a video series of interviews with local artists and creatives in Atlanta. At the same time, he/she will coordinate marketing and advertising components of the publication.

Skills required
• Strong writing skills (professional and/or journalistic)

• Web design / Content Management Systems
• Desirable qualifications: Interest/knowledge about Atlanta’s art/creative scene; written & oral fluency in English and Spanish; interest in media culture, journalism and/or Latin American Studies.

5-10 hours per week
$15 per hour
