Seacrest Studios, an in-house multimedia broadcast center, opened in March 2013 at Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, CA. Thanks to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, patients at CHOC Children’s now have the ability to explore the creative realms of radio, television, and new media right from their hospital rooms. They are one of just a handful of children’s hospitals nationwide to have this resource available for patients and families and the only studio currently on the west coast.
Seacrest Studios also features a hands-on internship program with local college students who are studying film, television broadcasting, journalism and communications. Interns work in teams to provide on-air content for patients and families. They also interact with patients and families and learn about the world of radio and television broadcasting. To apply to be a Seacrest Studios intern, fill out the Internship Application, send your resume and cover letter to their program coordinator, Bryan Mundia. For application deadlines click here.
