International Human Trafficking Institute (IHTI) is a program of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Inspired by the legacy of student organizing within the American civil rights movement and youth organizing within today’s global human rights struggles, IHTI connects with student leaders and young professionals to organize and advocate for the end of human trafficking. IHTI is cultivating the next generation of leaders in the youth movement to end human trafficking by sharing ideas, strategies, and knowledge in preparation for, and execution of, direct action campaigns. IHTI’s upcoming educational opportunity for your students, the Summer Teach-In, will be held at the Center for Civil and Human Rights in downtown Atlanta on July 22 and 23, 2016. The Summer Teach-In is an immersion experience where students will learn and gain practice in social change efforts. The Teach-In will consist of long hours of skill-building.
