The External and Employee Relations Branch, Division of Public Affairs, Office of the Associate Director for Communication, is seeking to fill a full-time (40 hours/week) entry-level writer intern position with CDC Connects. This is a paid internship position with a maximum three year renewal period based on available funding.
The position involves a wide-range of internal communication activities, including developing and writing stories, interviewing CDC leaders and staff members, covering employee engagement activities and other special events or programs, preparing blog topics, posting articles and information on the CDC Connects website, some editing, adhering to writing deadlines, and assisting with other communications assignments, as needed. Photography experience desired, but not required.
