Prospective interns should have a have an interest in contemporary art, publishing, or nonprofit management.
— ORGANIZATIONAL INTERNSHIP
Internships at ART PAPERS are typically project based and interns will gain experience in many of the following areas: database management, magazine circulation and distribution, fundraising, event planning, marketing, research, and magazine production. However, because ART PAPERS is a small organization, interns will be expected to assist as needed on general administrative tasks.
— EDITORIAL INTERNSHIP
In addition to broader organizational internships, we offer a more focused editorial internship, working closely with our Editor. Interns must be critical, detail-oriented thinkers who are adept at online and archival research have strong writing skills, and an interest in the relationship between text and image. Previous experience with publishing and/or contemporary visual art is desirable; an enthusiasm for these fields is essential.
