Registration for the Second Annual Project One Film Scramble is now open. Georgia Tech undergraduates are challenged to create short films—from concept to completion—about happiness in one fast-paced, caffeine-fueled weekend. Films must be 3 minutes or less, and can be any genre—science fiction, horror, romance, comedy, documentary, animation—as long as the theme of the film is “happiness.”
Prizes will be awarded for one film in each of the following categories: Best Writing, Best Editing, Best Directing, and Best Overall. The creators of each award-winning film will receive a $200 Visa Gift Card.
Registration is now open and closes next Thursday, March 8. The film creation stage of this event will take place from March 9 – March 12, with students having 3 days to complete their cinematic masterpieces. All participants will also need to include an assigned line of dialogue and prop in their film, both of which will be announced on the Project One website on March 9 at 12:00 pm. Select films will also be shown on the big screen at the Student Center Theater on April 11 at 7:00 pm.
The Film Scramble is open to all Georgia Tech undergraduate students.
